ABOUT:
Tatia started her career directing the award winning student film "Crazy Glue" based on a short story by Etgar Keret. After graduation, she animated for Nickelodeon, Scholastic and Little Airplane Production focusing on character animation for preschool shows.
Tatia moved to Sydney, Australia between the years 2006-2008 to direct $9.99 - a stop-motion animation feature collaboration with writer Etgar Keret. She directed the voice talents of Geoffrey Rush and Anthony LaPaglia among other prominent Australian actors. “$9.99” premiered at the 2008 Toronto film festival and went on to win numerous film festivals and earn nominations for best feature and best director at the prestigious Annies Awards. After returning to New York she expanded on her various film interests: writing spec scripts (two of which were optioned), teaching screenwriting at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and working as a freelance director, animator and video editor.
